Budaun (UP):
A 26-year-old woman died on Friday after being struck by a car in Alapur area of Uttar Pradesh‘s Budaun district, police said.
After hitting the woman, identified as Jyoti, the car collided with a tree and caught fire, police said.
The accident took place in Kharkholi Khurd village in Alapur, Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma said.
The matter is being probed, the SP said.
