Azamgarh (UP):
Three people were killed and as many injured when a tempo was hit by a truck in the Ahiraula area here on Sunday, police said.
Ranu Devi (50), Rajkumar (35) and Shreya (6) were killed on the spot, they said.
The injured were rushed to a hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
Police have seized the truck while its driver managed to flee after the accident.
